Synopsis
After a successful marriage orchestrated by a Ling Wu ancestor, the Ling Wu family was appointed as the court's official matchmakers during the Tang Dynasty, with the condition that a son from the Ling Wu family must carry on the family business. Ling Wu Hei was born shortly before the passing of the Old Master Ling Wu. Ling Wu Hei grows up, receiving education in the Classics and acquiring martial arts skills, eventually assuming the honorable position of head of the family and official matchmaker responsible for adjudicating disputes among matchmakers and their clients. However, a significant challenge arises—Ling Wu Hei is, in fact, a woman. Alongside Ling Wu Hei, Chuen Ka Fuk and Lin Bak Hap, private matchmakers, engage in fierce competition within the matchmaking business. Despite their prowess in matching others, they struggle to find suitable spouses for themselves.
