Synopsis
Based on a true story about the first female royal physician during the Chosun Dynasty. Dae Jang Geum begins as an apprentice in the royal kitchen but she later on achieves the status of being the King's personal physician. This is no easy feat, but is accomplished with hard work, perseverance and determination.
