Synopsis
The story begins 19 years ago, when the Ogura couple - Ogura Wataru and An made a promise to divorce when their child turns twenty. Wataru treats the promise as a joke and lives at his own pace with no particular ambition. On the other hand, An quit her job after giving birth and constantly prioritise her family above all else. However, deep down, An harbors lingering regrets about her early marriage and has been waiting for the promise to get "her life" back. One stormy night, Wataru jokingly brings up the promise around their neighbors, only for An to reply, "The promise is still ongoing, though."
