KakaoTV (카카오TV) was a streaming platform, owned by Kakao M, launched in June 2015.
On February 18, 2017, KakaoTV merged videos from the former video sharing platform Daum tvPot after its' shutdown.
On March 5, 2026, Kakao Corporation announced that they would be shutting down KakaoTV on June 30, 2026. Any creation of new channels and uploading was therefore fully suspended on June 1, 2026.
