- According to initial reports, Oh In Hye was found at her home, still showing vital signs when she was taken to the hospital. She had previously attempted suicide, but a friend alerted authorities, who came to her rescue. According to the Dispatch website, Oh In Hye died of cardiac arrest. The actress was found at her home in Song Do. An acquaintance had been unable to contact her and called emergency services. Upon arrival, they found her in critical condition and unconscious. After administering first aid, there was hope that Oh In Hye would survive, as she showed slight improvement, regaining breathing and her heart beating again while she was hospitalized, awaiting her awakening. Unfortunately, the actress never regained consciousness and died. As of now, there are no reports on the cause of her cardiac arrest or why she was unconscious, but the possibility of suicide has not been ruled out. Oh In Hye was rescued in the early hours of September 14 (Korean time) and died later. Her funeral will be held privately on September 16.
