Synopsis
The 25th NHK Yorudora is Diamond no Koi, the story of a 41-year-old woman whose life changes as she experiences menopausal symptoms at an earlier age. Reiko Sawatari is a successful jewelry designer who lives with her daughter from a previous marriage. Reiko, who has never had a doubt about her rosy future, suddenly loses her job because of continuous dizziness. She returns to her hometown in Nara Prefecture and participates in an excavation of ancient remains, finding a new way of life and a new love. In a comical and emotional way, the drama depicts her search for how to live the second stage of her life as a "woman."
