Synopsis
Assistant Inspector Takeuchi Koji (Watase Tsunehiko) had failed to protect the prime minister 15 years ago while guarding him. The prime minister was attacked and as a result, Takeuchi was kept away from frontline duty. However, he is designated to be a security police again by that prime minister's daughter, Ishinabe Kiriko (Takahata Atsuko), who has become a female politician. Although Kiriko is ostensibly a highly popular politician with the common people, she fires security police from the job one after another, ignores their warnings and acts on her own. In contrast to her glamour and approachability, she is selfish and not easy to handle. In the midst of this, a murder bearing the same hallmarks as the stalking-murder that Takeuchi did not prevent, and which led to his botched protection of the prime minister, occurs …
