Synopsis

Mineko Yahagi and Miwako Itogawa were brought up as foster sisters under the same roof. However, that dream is shattered when Miwako commits suicide with Mineko's fiancé — which is covered-up internally.

Many years later, Hiromichi must decide his heir. Without knowing that Miwako died, he announces that she will be his successor. Mineko stands up and says, "I will become Miwako... I will become the daughter of this house." It is Mineko's own decision to live a life pretending to be somebody else. She thinks it's her only way to feel alive, after losing her loved one and not knowing who her parents are. Little does she know however, that her fateful decision will soon deeply involve the lives of those around her... --Fuji TV
