Synopsis
Miyama Yuichi works in the Advanced Material department of the trading company "Souwa Bussan", while his kind-hearted wife, Endo Natsumi, works at the Finance department of the same company. With their impending wedding ceremony, Yuichi is seen to be passionately working every day on the development of a new miracle material. His boss, Orita, tells Yuichi that management has decided to start a new company to further develop this new material, and Yuichi will be managing the new company . They will also hire a research consultant, Professor Onodera to be part of the project team. Actually, Professor Onodera is Yuichi's father, but they are estranged as upon the death of his wife, Onodera up and disappeared after the funeral. Although it is a complicated, for the sake of the company, Yuichi continues to work on the project.
One day, after a business trip, Yuichi comes to know of a rival company, Mire Pacific, that had started the same research on the same material as that he is working on. As Yuichi had been head hunted before by Mire Pacific, the company suspects him of leaking confidential information to Mire Pacific. Having been suspended from work, Yuichi heads to the research lab to look for his father. He is shocked to arrive at the lab to find both his father, and the computer with all the project's data, missing. Then while leaving the lab, Yuichi is suddenly assaulted by someone, and dragged into a waiting car... --Fuji TV
