About Nam Joo Hyuk

Nam Joo Hyuk was born on February 22, 1994 in Busan, South Korea as the only child of his parents. At the age of 16, he moved to Suwon. Nam Joo Hyuk revealed in an interview that his family had difficult times in his youth, he remembers to eat only instant ramen during the totality of his third grade in School and didn't even have a bathroom at home, According to the actor his and his family circumstances improved greatly since he started his acting career to the point he has even made generous donations to his previous high school for student scholarships. Nam Joo Hyuk debuted in 2013 as a model for the SONGZIO Homme Spring / Summer 2014 collection. In 2014 he appeared in the music videos of YG Entertainment artist Akdong Musician and made his debut as an actor with a supporting role in the TVN drama "Surplus Princess" (2014).
