Synopsis
This long running television series centres around the life of the Mo family in Holland V in Singapore and the popular "nasi lemak" stall. The story is based especially on the six Mo siblings and their different personalities. The eldest, Mo Wan Wan (Chen Li Ping) is known to be the largest and the strongest one in the family. She has a bad habit of binging and has a hot temper. Mo Ling Ling (Patricia Mok) is the second eldest sister who's a pushover and has trouble in society because of her "unfortunate" looks. Her husband is a useless man who does not practice what he preaches. The third sister, Mo Yan Yan(Cynthia Koh) is beautiful but money-minded. She is seen as the spoilt brat of the family because she usually "gets what she wants". The forth sister, Mo Jing Jing (Jeannette Aw) has mental disabilities but nonetheless kind-hearted and very naive. She is usually the peacemaker of the family. Mo Rou Rou (Vivian Lai), the fifth, is quiet and very ladylike. She avoids conflict whenever possible and can be a pushover. The youngest sibiling, Mo Yang Yang (Pierre Png) is an innocent believer of justice. He is also a very responsible person.
