Synopsis
A TV station organises a whole new reality show Let's Play Love, with the aim of selecting an individual who emerges the master of the game.
Four males and four females from different backgrounds will come together to participate in the game. Through a series of missions, each individual will be challenged on their views towards love.
Who will emerge as the winner to attain the title of Best Lover?
Computer engineer Ian (played by Huang Jing Lun) replaces his friend in Let's Play Love, after the latter gets cold feet. He heads out to search for his partner in the game, and chances upon Xiao Yi (played by Teresa Tseng), whom he believed is his "right one".
A series of misunderstanding involving kicks and punches soon ensue. Host Yu Sen (played by Bryan Wong) decides to pair the quarrelsome pair, making them the first official couple on the game.
Realising her match was initially the average-looking Ian, Priscilia (played by Sora Ma) stealthily switches her cue card with Xiao Yi's, which had fallen onto the ground during the commotion.
Xiao Yi's initial partner Cheng Xi (played by James Seah) witnesses the change, but decides to keep it a secret, in order to stay in the game, making Priscilia and Cheng Xi the second couple.
Nicholas (played by Jeffrey Xu) believes that meeting Isabelle (played by Julie Tan) is his destiny. A whiff of perfume prompts Nic to surprise Isabelle.
Nic later finds her in the crowd and declares it was love at first sight. Isabelle is apprehensive at first, but is quickly bought over by his sweet nothings. They become the third couple in the game.
Ash (played by Romeo Tan) is a minor celebrity, with a loyal fan base. He joins the competition in an attempt to win recognition and increase his popularity. However, time is ticking and he has yet to find his partner.
With only three minutes left to qualify for the game, Ash's tomboyish partner Kimmy (played by Silver Ang) runs up and acknowledges him.
Time is up. Four couples are matched -- or mismatched. Now, let the games begin.
