Sypnosis
Amano Hei (Yamashita Tomohisa) is a third grade boy in junior high who is short and looks like a girl at first glance. But on the inside he is masculine with a strong spirit and he hates to lose. The story focuses on Hei and his best friend, Banri (Aiba Masaki) and sees their worries about love. It is a story of youth which includes both comical and serious themes.

"Ppoi!" is a girls comic written by Yamazaki Takako. It was first serialized in "LaLa" in 1991, then later in other magazines. Yamashita Tomohisa starred in the drama version in 1999, but it was never released on video or DVD.
