What is this story about? It seems to be a familiar plot: a medic and a star. (Those who wish can, for example, watch Intense Love in 2020 with the same actress in the title role.) But there are minor differences.
Xing Zhizhi, a rescue medic who has seen a lot in his life. A very reserved guy, whose only small weakness is his infatuation with the actress Qin Fei.
Qin Fei, a pretty famous actress, but also an unlucky actress. As "always" with actors in Chinese dramas, she gets handed out. After trying to introduce an actress friend to a lawyer, she suddenly finds herself in the "skin" of the villains she usually played. To somehow get out of a completely ridiculous situation, she decides to volunteer with a rescue team in a remote area in southwest China.
Note that Qin Fei is not at all another star-studded actress, is not hysterical and is not afraid of hard and dirty work. For her, this trip is not at all an attempt to publicize the suffering of others, she does not even need the fame she has earned. She is sincerely ready to help those in need. These traits of her character are quickly noticed by Xing Zhizhi. And a spark of feelings begins to flare up between them. However, the situation is somewhat overshadowed by the not very pleasant, although somewhat comical, acquaintance of the main characters in the first series. However, this confirms the actress' bad luck, she managed to get into the wrong car at the airport.
Further, the natural development of tender feelings, wonderful romance, beautiful scenes of kisses and relationships between the characters, seasoned for sharpness and maintaining "tension in the network" with a bit of misunderstanding, jealousy, and a sweet couple of minor characters. Everything was very, very good... until the last episode. I don't know why, but the creators of the series simply ditched the end of the series, besides leaving part of the novel filmed in it behind the scenes. The ending is completely unclear: it is unclear whether Xing Zhi Zhi actually returned, or whether Qin Fei finally lost her mind and began to see hallucinations. The scenes following Xing Zhizhi's second trip to Sudan were also left out of the series.
The general verdict: If you are not embarrassed by the crumpled ending, then you can and should watch the great acting (in particular, Zhang Yu Xi in the role of a slightly flighty star looks great, see Intense Love, where she plays a very similar character), beautiful scenes, a good plot.
