- Fujita Tomoko's photobook Tono Novel (遠野小説, 1996) created one of the largest scandals of the 1990's. The photos barely touching rated-X levels, the nude photos were not supposed to be published in the book. Tomoko quickly sued the publisher, and won, causing the photobook to be removed from circulation. Tono Novel is currently among the rarest of photobooks, and can reach prices of over US$500 for a single copy.
