Synopsis
Kobayakawa Nobuki is working in an university-affiliated hospital where he is troubled over his working relationships and his wife Taeko who gets jealous and suspicious easily even though Taeko is a good mother to their daughter Misuzu...
At this juncture, Nobuki is invited to go to a bonsai class at the invitation of his university junior cum best friend, Hitoshi Kyosuke who is a lawyer. He meets Sakuta Kana there and is deeply attracted to her. Kana has a hidden past which is only known to Hitoshi.
At work, Nobuki is caught in a battle to get promoted with his colleague Takebayashi Hayato even though he has no intention to get involved.
Due to the hectic nature of his work, Taeko keeps imagining that Nobuki is having an affair and keeps harping on this issue. Nobuki is feeling exhausted both physically and mentally which leads to him sleeping with Kana one night. Hitoshi comes to know about this and is concerned about Nobuki and Kana.
Meanwhile, Nobuki's superior Mimura Koichi is conducting a one-man show in the hospital which leads to clashes with an intern Numatsu Shota and these involve Nobuki inevitably.
With so many problems bugging Nobuki, he is unsure when he can live peacefully...
