Synopsis

K-tai Sosakan 7 is a 2008 Japanese television drama. It is a joint collaboration between WIZ and Production I.G. directed by Miike Takashi. A second season titled K-tai Investigator 7: NEXT will be distributed on the internet starting in May 2009.

Keita Amishima is a high school freshman who gets involved in Under ANCHOR, an organization formed to bring criminals using advanced technology to justice. Taking the place of a previous Under ANCHOR agent, Keita is paired up with Phone Braver 7, a cellphone robot. Together, the two track down the high-tech criminals as well as their benefactor, the renegade Phone Braver 01. The series revolves around a high school boy, his transforming cell-phone robot, and his six detective partners that fight against an internet-based criminal organization. --AnimeNation
