Synopsis
During 1930s Minguo in the nation's capital, opera performer Xiao Jun Sheng is wrongfully accused and arrested for the murder of the 2nd mistress of a prominent household at the peak of his career and commits suicide in jail. His wife flees with their two young children, daughter Ke Lan and son Ming Xuan. Eighteen years later, to carry out the final wish of their now departed mother, Ke Lan and Ming Xuan return to the capital to clear their father's name and uncover the truth.
