This is a documentation subpage for Template:Cast subpage.

This template is for adding a short descriptive text message at the beginning of (guest-)cast subpages.

The {{cast subpage}} template should be added to the top of a cast subpage. It can be used to place a link to the associated drama page. Additionally the template will also put the cast page to Category:Cast subpages or one of its subcategories.

You can define a custom text message as first parameter. Additionally you may specify the language using the country parameter which will be used for the standard text message and for the categorization.

Examples

minimal usage

{{cast subpage}}

gives:

This is a cast subpage for the drama Cast subpage.

language specific usage using a country code

{{cast subpage|country=jp}}

gives:

This is a cast subpage for the Japanese drama Cast subpage.

customized text message (and language)

{{cast subpage|Guests and supporting cast for the Japanese drama series [[Last Hope]].|country=jp}}

gives:

Guests and supporting cast for the Japanese drama series Last Hope.
