Synopsis
Xia Zhi Xing (Yoo Ha Na), aka Ah Xing, is a con-artist who makes a living by selling fake jewelries and posing as company representatives to trick her customers into buying them for more than they are worth. After getting out of jail for her deed, she crosses paths with Zhong Tian Qi (Jimmy Lin) who was being chased for stealing a necklace known as Queen Mary. Ah Xing sees him as another criminal like her, while in reality, the necklace actually belonged to Tian Qi's family and that they own one of the largest jewelry company, E-Shine. At first, she was oblivious to this information, and the pair would gradually find themselves becoming more and more involved with each other, until they eventually fall in love. Tian Qi then sees all of the forged copies Ah Xing has made and tells her to start using her talent to find an actual job as a jewelry designer. However, due to their different backgrounds, Tian Qi's father is reluctant to let him meet with Ah Xing, but Tian Qi is determined to stay with her, regardless of the consequences. His former girlfriend and his brother's fiancee, Ou Ya Ruo (Jennifer Hong), is hateful towards Ah Xing and her jealousy could be seen by her fiancee, Tian Jun (Leon Jay Williams).
Tian Qi and Ah Xing then moves back to her village, where they both live their happy lives as a couple. But when a gang threatened to harm the villagers, Tian Qi decides to race them to protect the villagers. However, after being seen as a savior and hero, the gang comes back for revenge and Tian Qi is brutally beaten to the point where he could no longer race in the future. After the incident, Ah Xing agrees to never meet him again, and throws away the ring he had given to her to prove that her feelings were gone. A number of other events happens, leading to Tian Jun's death that Ah Xing is blamed for. Thinking that she really was responsible for his brother's death, Tian Qi decides to end his relationship with her.
5 years later, Tian Qi changes completely into a cold and bitter man. He refuses to get back with Ah Xing, and even humiliates her by expressing how much he hated her on television. But like 5 years ago, he starts falling for her all over again, and eventually finds himself fighting for her love with a brother he never knew he had.
