Synopsis
During the latter part of the 14th century, King Taejong (Kam Woo Sung) abolished the Goryeo Dynasty and is now running the kingdom of Joseon. At the same time, there are a few that know of a deal he made with an evil spirit—which in turn used their power to possess humans to control and terrorize the world. The kings' two sons, Prince Chungnyung (Jang Dong Yoon) and Prince Yangnyeong (Park Sung Hoon) are the two that stand in his way—for two different reasons.

Notes
- Due to a controversy concerning its use of Chinese-style props and food, as well as the drama's interpretation of King Taejong, Prince Chungnyung, and Prince Yangnyeong—which many viewers pointed out as a distortion of Korean history, SBS cancelled airing the rest of the drama.
