Synopsis
Lee Ji-Yun (Yoon Jung-Hee) is a happy, free-spirited young women who takes an optimistic approach to life. Chae Joon-Ho (Jung Kyung-Woon) is Ji-Yun's handsome and charming husband, who married Ji-Yun despite his mother's disapproval. Although they live in a small and humble apartment, their love for each other allows them to be perfectly content with their marriage and living situation. They seem like the "picture-perfect" couple capable of overcoming any kind of obstacle. However, all this changes when a seductive, young women named Jo Ha-Young, comes storming into their lives.
Ha-Young (Jang Min In-Ae) is Joon-Ho's first love from high school. When she invites Joon-Ho and his friend's on a ski-trip, past emotions re-surface as Ha-Young seduces Joon-Ho into a passionate love affair. When Ji-Yun finds out about the affair, she decides to forgive Joon-Ho with the hope of starting over again. Unfortunately, he decides to meet Ha-Young one last time and gets in a car accident with her. When Ji-Yun rushes to the hospital and realizes that Joon-Ho was with Ha-Young again, she vows never to forgive him and divorces him.
A heart-broken Joon-Ho gets sent by his company to work in America (he was originally planning on moving there with Ji-Yun). All the while, he hangs onto hope that Ji-Yun will reconsider her decision and get back together with him.
A few years later, Joon-Ho returns to Korea determined to get back together with Ji-Yun. Little does he know, Ji-Yun has a daughter and has begun falling in love with a cop by the name of Kim Tae-Sup (Kim Suk-Hoon)! To add to the complication, Ha-Young still wants to marry him and has been keeping in close contact with his mom ever since he moved to America.
Will Ji-Yun find forgiveness in her heart and get back together with Joon-Ho, or will she end up choosing the sweet, and caring Tae-Sup? Could it be that Joon-Ho is the father of Ji-Yun's daughter and will his plan to get back together be foiled once again by the seductive Ha-Young?
Watch this dramatic story unfold and get lost in a passionate drama about love, marriage, and separation.
