Making Entries and Edits in DramaWiki
Okay.. I didn't know I was making such a mess..
Adding/changing profile pic
I first want to thank you for adding pictures to many of the wiki articles. However, I did notice that some of the pics you added/changed weren't for the correct artists. It maybe that you had mistaken them for some other artists of similar names. So before you add/change anymore profile pics, pls make sure they are the same person as the wiki article. --WaterOB 17:53 2006 Nov 23
Oh, sorry about that... I'll try to make sure next time.
- If you're using Google's image search feature to find these images, keep in mind that a good percentage of images listed in the search process are incorrect. Google searches its database to see if the name appears near an image of a given web page. If it does, it'll list the image. As an example of an incorrect listing, one web designer could place an image of a porn star on his web site and then place text near it saying "This woman looks much like Matsuda Seiko". So when people search for Matsuda Seiko images, the porn star image will appear in the listing. So don't be fooled when using Google. A word of advice: unless you are VERY familiar with the artist, I would refrain from posting an image of the artist unless you're REALLY sure the image is accurate. Even if you're right 9 times out of 10, that one mistake isn't good. We're aiming for 100-percent here. Groink 17:53, 23 Nov 2006 (CST)
Okay. (: Just wondering which pictures I've uploaded that is uncorrect..

Oh okay, I see it. Thank you.
Image for Special of My Life
I re-uploaded the image using a filename that leaves out the apostrophe. The apostrophe causes the wiki software to generate a backslash before it, creating "\'" in the name. The backslash is a delimiter used in the wiki software to organize sub-articles within a lead article. In the future, it is best to leave out special characters and keep it to just letters, numbers and the underscore "_" character. Groink 23:31, 25 Nov 2006 (CST)
Okay.
Links
The wikipedia link you have added for Jiro Wang is a dead link. When you add a link, please verify that it actually goes to the page you want it to go. Please either correct the link or remove it. Thank you. --WaterOB 19:15 Jul 28 2006
Oh, I didn't check the link before I did it. I saw it on other member of that group so I copied that link and pasted it for Jiro Wang..
The blog thing
Here is the deal w/ blog link in TW artist section: I discussed this with Groink at Talk:Eddie Peng. Tho' wiki doesn't allow blog, but the proliferation of official blogs instead of official websites for Taiwanese artists requires a different approach. We'll allow blog in TW and China section, as long as, we can verify that it's an official blog and the artist posts info regarding his/her dramas. So... this may require some reading to determine if both requirements are met. If not sure, then go right ahead and delete them like you have been doing. BTW, good job updating wiki pages. --WaterOB 09:31, 11 Jan 2007 (CST)
