- No. Hepburn without the macrons is THE standard throughout the English-speaking Internet. In my 39 years brought up in Hawaii, with almost 1/2 of our telephone books filled with Japanese names, they're all Hepburn/no macrons. Wapuro romaji was just a work-around during the pre-Microsoft Windows days when IBM keyboards were not equipped to enter macrons. Groink 19:04, 15 Apr 2007 (CDT)
Wouldn't the title be better as "Hyakki Yako Sho"? Yakosho doesn't come up in my dictionary, whereas if it's separate then the title would translate to something like "Excerpts from the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" --Ce.ar 4:32, 15 Apr 2007 (EDT)
- It all depends on how it is being used elsewhere. Most references to the manga use "yakosho", while non-manga references use "yako sho". Because many DramaWiki readers are also manga readers, we should stick with the convention that is being used by the manga community. Groink 19:04, 15 Apr 2007 (CDT)
