Useful Remarks Don't Have to be Obvious Ones

Your latest addition to the Kuroki Hitomi article makes a lot more sense. --Lady Zhuge 18:06, 14 Mar 2008 (CDT)

Stealing from Wikipedia

Don't do it again. DramaWiki does not have a relationship with Wikipedia, therefore we do not allow stealing of dialog from Wikipedia. Groink 16:44, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)

What did I steal from Wikipedia? ruisu  Talk  16:45, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
The reverse order of the dramas for starters. The wikilinks from Wikipedia that don't fit with DramaWiki (Shaw Brothers, etc.) Groink 16:50, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
And also that intro paragraph before the profile section. Groink 16:52, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
I got the dramas from the special dramawiki page that showed bad links to Gordon Liu. I made Shaw Brothers a wikilink because they're one of the greatest movies studios in Hong Kong film history. Well, as a laymen that was my impression. If that was wrong why not just unlink it? The filmography was from Wikipedia, but it's just a list. I don't think it's possible to steal a filmography, it would be the same if I used IMDB. Everything else I wrote myself. Please compare what I wrote with the Wiki article. ruisu  Talk  17:02, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)

It isn't the word-for-word dialog that you copied. It is the organization and formatting of the Wikipedia style that we do not use here. The format you used is virtually identical to Wikipedia, which made it look like a copy of Wikipedia. I've since then fixed the Gordon Liu article to fit DramaWiki guidelines. Groink 17:07, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)

Yeah, I mostly edit on wikipedia. I'm just used to doing: Who the are, and why they're notable in the lead; the categories; the subsections. I've read the MOS here a while ago, and I did take a very quick look at it again before starting the article, but I didn't realize there was no flexibility with the lead. My mistake. ruisu  Talk  17:20, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
  • HK/China/Taiwan/Singapore articles
Chinese TV Show Article Formatting
Chinese Artist Article Formatting
Romanization of Chinese

Every Chinese article on DramaWiki must follow these guidelines. Groink 16:55, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)

Okay, didn't know about the reverse order lists. I'm reverting back my edit, keeping your changes. Is there any reason you omitted the upcoming drama from the list? ruisu  Talk  17:07, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
Re-added. Groink 17:11, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
Thanks, I will re-add the external links too. The HK Cinema bio is where a I got some info from. The CNN interview is also a source, there's a transcript so I'll link to that instead of the video. ruisu  Talk  17:20, 22 Jun 2008 (CDT)
