Synopsis
Mori Nao is a second year high school student who claims that her life is nothing special. One day, Nao makes a sudden acquaintance with her mysterious classmate, Katayama Kiri, who invites her to visit a murder crime scene in her neighborhood.
Meanwhile, sisters Yatsuji Haru and Kei witness their father, who works at a mountain villa, being assaulted. Fearing for their lives, they flee barefoot along a dark mountain path.
Ichihara Kotone is a 20 year old who failed her music school entrance exam and is working at her father's coffee shop. Her biggest worry is her rebellious younger sister, Kanon, who is supposed to be preparing for university entrance exam but is instead spending her days in a band.
Confined to her home by illness, Matsumiya Yuki finds secret pleasure watching Shinozuka Maya, a beautiful woman who passes by her family's garden every evening. They soon begin to exchange words, but Yuki's mother, Hiroko scolds her, forbidding her from having any further contact with Maya.
Across different places and times, these four seemingly unrelated stories gradually begin to intersect.
