Synopsis
Joo Ha Na, a once-famous judoka who became poor due to a string of unfortunate events in her life, asks her childhood friend Do Woo Ri to marry her and to fake his death. They were planning to flee the country after they obtained the insurance money, but things did not go as planned. Woo Ri is killed and Ha Na is charged with murder.

- Based on the webtoon Dead Man's Letter (망자의 서), written by GAR2 and illustrated by Oh Saem (오쌤).
- The series was supposed to air in 2020. However, due to the after-effects of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic (some scenes were to be shot in Thailand, which was also affected by the same situation), it was pushed back to 2021.
