Synopsis
Forensic pathologist Liu Chuan travels back in time to ancient China and unexpectedly discovers that the murder victim, also named Liu Chuan, looks exactly like him. He then impersonates him.
Unexpectedly, this Liu Chuan is engaged to Qiu Yue, the daughter of the prefect. Liu Chuan is also unexpectedly drawn into a series of bloody incidents in Yingtian Prefecture. Amidst the carnage, Liu Chuan displays extraordinary investigative skills, solving countless difficult and complex cases.
