Synopsis
In the turbulent Republican-era city of Ningcheng, Lu Ye, the young master of the Qingtian Gang, returns from studying abroad only to discover that his father has been shot dead by Police Chief Shen Tianbai. Concealing his true intentions, Lu Ye engages in a tense battle of wits with the disgraced, amnesiac Shen Tianbai, unaware that Shen is actually a lone hero working undercover within the Shisha Gang. As the two former enemies form an unbreakable bond, they unravel a web of gang conflicts and police corruption. Together, they foil a deadly wolfsbane experiment threatening innocent lives, bring the mastermind to justice, and protect the people of Ningcheng and the ideals they hold dear.
