Trivia
- Based on the 2011 Bona Film Group movie with the same name, starring Jet Li and Zhou Xun. It is the first Wuxia movie in 3D and is the second remake of the 1966 movie Dragon Gate Inn written and directed by King Hu. The first remake was the 1992 production New Dragon Gate Inn starring Donnie Yen, who was asked, yet declined for the 2011 version.
