Synopsis
After graduating from an art school, Ming Liang gives up the opportunity for further studies to return to his hometown and care for his seriously ill foster mother. He takes over her lifelong endeavor, the struggling Fragrance of The Pomegranates, and breathes new life into it by infusing his artistic talent into its operations. Along the way, he helps his found family of staff resolve a series of professional and personal challenges, gradually expanding the restaurant into a thriving enterprise. At the same time, he reunites with his childhood friend Gulinaer who now is an independent, spirited worker at a wildlife rescue center. During these days of watching over his mother and managing the restaurant together, they heal each other and gradually become the most aligned companions on life's journey.
