Synopsis
Ryuhei, a dreamless teenager, sees a poster advertising "OOTS," the Osaka Owarai Talent School. "Owarai" is Japanese stand-up comedy that involves two comedians engaging in fast-talking, wise-cracking humor. Ryuhei is extremely lonely, so he decides to give the school a try. When he enrolls, he finds that many of the young aspirants are just like him, alone and unhappy. He makes friends with ice-cold Hitomi and the troubled Azusa. By working with one another as comedy partners, and growing together as friends, the youngsters come to understand the value of having other people in their lives. --Sales-MICOJAPAN
