Synopsis
The Emperor of Northern Liang is seriously ill. On his way back to the palace, prince Xiao Ding was assassinated but was saved by a youth named Chen Zeming. Chen Zeming then became embroiled in the political battle and schemes within the court. From a valiant guard to a formidable general, Chen Zeming maintains a pure and kind heart against the evil and treachery around him. His mysterious birth eventually unveiled the sins of Empress Dowager Fan. When Chen Mingze was revealed to be of royal descent, he is already a powerful general with military power. This causes misunderstandings and distrust between him and Xiao Ding, who is now the Emperor. However seeing the political unrest and turmoil, Chen Zeming decides to put on his armor again and assist Xiao Ding in wiping out the rebellion and maintaining the peace of the world.
