Synopsis
Tang Xiaoshan, a young lady from Lingnan, was recognized as the owner of the ancient Xuanling Mirror and was chased by Xinyue Fox, causing her cousin Lin Wan'er's life to be in danger. In order to save Wan'er, Xiao Shan and the demoted Bailin Immortal Yun Qing used the Xuanling Mirror to go back to the past, but they didn't want the Xuanling Mirror to shatter and scatter at the end of the mountains and seas.
Xiao Shan and Yun Qing followed their father, Tang Ao, uncle Lin Zhiyang, and counselor Duo Gong on a voyage to search for the fragments. They traveled through the countries of Junzi, Daren, Yuangu, Heiqia, Liangmian, Nvnu, Xuanyuan, and other countries, admiring the different natural features and experiencing different humanities and customs. Because Xiao Shan got along with Tang Ao and understood the whole story of his failure to return from his trip, his relationship with Yun Qing also grew day by day. The two eventually found the pieces.
On Penglai Island, Xiao Shan and Yun Qing found the elixir of life and a way to repair the Xuanling Mirror, but Xiao Shan was scratched by Xinyue Fox and died. Yun Qing killed Xinyue Fox in anger, drank the red spring water, and finally sacrificed himself to help Xiao Shan recover. Xiao Shan returned to the Tang Dynasty and started a new life.
