Synopsis
Kakei Shiro (Nishijima Hidetoshi) is a hired lawyer working at a small law firm in town. Shiro's daily routine is to head to the local discount supermarket after leaving the office on time. Keeping his monthly food budget under 25,000 yen is a priority for Shiro. Shiro returns home and immediately starts cooking dinner. Just as dinner is being prepared, Yabuki Kenji (Uchino Seiyo), a hairdresser who lives with Shiro, comes home. They call each other "Shiro-san" and "Kenji". The dinner time they spend together across the dining table is an important time for them to talk about their daily events and feelings.

Synopsis
Shiro and Kenji are invited by Kohinata (Yamamoto Koji) to a very expensive yakiniku restaurant, where they find him there with Wataru (Isomura Hayato). To their surprise, the well-known actress Mitsuya Mami—who Shiro is a huge fan of—arrives at the restaurant. Kenji becomes jealous of Shiro's excitement...

Synopsis
