Synopsis
Karino Shin is an unpopular manga artist who spends his days meaningless in his apartment. One day, he meets his new neighbour, Sato Kotaro, a 5-year-old child who will be living alone.
Shin begins to take care of Kotaro and learns the importance of responsibility and care as an adult.

Synopsis
Kotaro is now an elementary school student and there is no longer any need for Shin to send and fetch Kotaro to and from his kingergarten. There is also no need to make bento lunches for Kotaro. However, Kotaro has a secret problem which is the whereabouts of his mother and his future with his father.
