In the bustling streets and among the common folk, strange and eerie phenomena arise. Humans, demons, deities, and spirits all understand the ways of the world, while flowers, trees, birds, and beasts are all imbued with a certain spirit. Humans have a touch of the demonic, and demons possess a human heart. This revival of classic Eastern supernatural tales, with a volume of "Liao Zhai," discerns the good and evil between yin and yang, and paints a vivid picture of the myriad aspects of life.
