Synopsis
As a child, Wen Chu was rendered mute as a result of the cruel actions of his mother and was adopted by the kind-hearted Ah Jiao. Wen Chu grew up with Ah Jiao's daughter Jun Hao, and the two eventually develop romantic feelings for one another. Wen Chu is extremely self-sacrificing, has an inferiority complex due to his disability, and therefore feels unworthy of Jun Hao. Ah Jiao is also against their relationship and things are further complicated when Situ Li Xin enters the picture after falling for Jun Hao too.
