Ito Misaki

Romanization
If someone REALLY wanted to be anal about the spelling of her family name, it should be spelled "Itou" because ?伊 in Hiragana is ???, イトウ in Katakana, or "i-to-u" in Romaji. There are, however, times where although you know, I know, and most other Japanese speaking folks know that "Itoh" is incorrect, we all have to "go with the flow" as virtually all other English-speaking web sites spell her family name as "Itoh." Therefore, it should be kept as "Itoh" for the sake of consistency with the rest of the Internet. Groink 03:33, 6 Nov 2005 (EST)
- To update this talk page, it must be noted that this artist's official web page uses the romanization "Ito Misaki," which is why the name of the article is as such. It was mentioned in the edit comments, but never clarified on this talk page. Groink 01:12, 7 Jul 2009 (UTC)
Removing external links
I'm starting to remove certain types of external links on DramaWiki. The types of external links that should be posted are:
- Links to discussions on D-Addicts
- Links to discussions on JDorama.com, which is known to be a sister board to D-Addicts
- Links to discussions in other languages, such as French, German, etc.
- Official web site for the drama or artist
- Information pages on locations specific to the drama
What we DO not want on DramaWiki are external links to fansites, blogs or photo sites. We are also not trying to compete with search engines like Google and Yahoo. If people want to find photos and other sites of their favorite artists like Misaki, then can do the searching themselves.
Once again, DramaWiki is all about collecting general information on an artist or drama. We don't want to make DramaWiki out to be the home page for a certain drama or artist. Groink 16:01, 23 Dec 2005 (EST)
