Just want to ask that the deleted trivia above be looked at again. I feel that the above is not just a repeat of his drama listing because as a director, I would not expect to see him in front of the cameras and so it's interesting to note that he cameos in some of his directed dramas. --A10203040 01:27, 7 Nov 2006 (CST)

Because they are drama-specific entries, these trivia items belong in the drama articles themselves. We shouldn't be using artist articles to discuss characters just because it is something of a rarety. Matter of fact, I really don't see a director becoming an actor being special at all. For example, in the case of Katori Shingo, he lost a lot of weight in preparation for his role in Shinsengumi. But that was added in the trivia for the drama itself, not in Shingo's article. There are many other artists on DramaWiki that take part in more than one aspect of the drama process, such as Suzuki Masayuki or Beat Takeshi. But I wouldn't use Takeshi's article to summarize characters he played in front of the camera. That's why I removed those trivia items; it is consistent with how things have been running up to now.
