This is a documentation subpage for Template:LANGUAGE.

This template returns the name of the language for the country passed as parameter. With this template you can create template phrases that contain a language name, for example [[Category:<language> dramas]].

Notes:

• Only those few countries/languages are supported which are relevant for DramaWiki.
• The result isn't always a correct language, for example for Hong Kong the output will be Hong Kong instead of Chinese. The result is rather an adjectival form for a country.

Syntax:

The country value can also be an abbreviation or country code.
