Template:Unsigned/doc

Use this template to label unsigned comments in a talk page conversation, to attribute them to the correct user.

Usage

Append the following to an uncommented talk page post:

{{unsigned|<username>|<timestamp>}}

Parameters:

1 - name or IP-address of the User (required)

2 - datestamp from edit history (remember to label it UTC) (optional)

blabla! {{unsigned|SomeUser|11:11, Nov 11, 2011 (UTC)}}

will appear as:

blabla! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by SomeUser (talk) on 11:11, Nov 11, 2011 (UTC)
