Synopsis
Chen Bingbing, Ai Meili, and Lin Yuechu, three close friends, are all married and living the ordinary lives of housewives. When they meet, they each feel that married life has become dull and monotonous, stripping them of their sense of self-worth as women. One day, they pass by a grocery store and discover that it isn’t an ordinary store at all, but a detective agency. The shop owner possesses a special ability: by using old objects, he can send people back in time to uncover hidden truths. Although the three women are now wives, they still long to realize their own value. They decide to stay at the shop and rename it “The Fair Ladies Detective Agency,” dedicated to helping others solve difficult problems. From then on, they begin leading double lives—investigating cases by day, and returning home by night to play the roles of devoted wives and mothers.
