Synopsis
Yin Jingwan asks Murong Feng, the son of Cheng Zhou's warlord, to free her fiancé Xu Jianzhang after he's thrown into jail following a botched firearms exchange. Murong Feng initially rejects her plea but ends up falling in love with her. Yin Jingwan too, develops intense feelings for Murong Feng but tries to suppress them due to fear of being sucked into this dark yet sweet vortex. However, on the day of her wedding to Xu Jianzhang, Yin Jingwan travels far and wide to be by Murong Feng's side after hearing that Cheng Zhou is in grave danger. Unfortunately, Murong Feng is forced to marry Cheng Jinzhi, the daughter of a powerful general, to get her father's backing on the military front. Driven by the humiliation of losing Yin Jingwan, Xu Jianzhang is consumed by hatred and vows to destroy Murong Feng at any cost, even if it means conspiring with Japanese invaders.
