Notes

  • This is a pre-produced drama.
  • Filming began on September 2016.
  • This drama is based on Bandai Namco Entertainment's THE iDOLM@STER video game series. The drama is described as having completely new characters and an original story, with only the main theme of THE iDOLM@STER tying it back to the original.
  • The cast was chosen through public auditions and voting systems. Those who passed every audition were given roles in the drama. On August 24, 2016, the final roster of 10 girls was announced, forming the unit Real Girls Project.
