Synopsis
The story follows the process of constructing the Zheng Canal, linking it to the process of Qin's unification of the six kingdoms. During this period, Emperor Ying Zheng and Chancellor Mi Yuan, childhood friends, share a deep bond as they face political enemies and the six kingdoms together. In the end, however, due to differences in personality, nation, and blood, they find themselves in armed conflict.
