Synopsis
As a kid, all Lee Byeung Hun has done was to follow his gambler uncle around and cheat for him. As a high school student, he hangs out with his friends at the basement of a theater. When he gets to know Ji Sung, a perfect student and also the son of a very rich family, Lee tries to tempt him into the low-life world Lee lives in. Song Hye Gyo is the daughter of a theater worker who becomes orphaned when her father dies. In part of revenge of their friend's injury and Song's father's death, Lee and Ji Sung set up a murderous fire. Lee serves nearly ten years, and works as a casino security personnel with Huh Joon Ho after release. Ji Sung, who got excused from the crime, comes back from the US to work at the casino. Song, who studied to become a nun, gives up her dream but in turn, she becomes a casino dealer at the same casino. The three meet again, and Lee and Song fall in love. When danger lurks Lee, he runs away to the US, leaving Song behind. They eventually meet again in Las Vegas, but become seperated again when Songthinks that Lee is killed. Ji, thereafter tries to win Song's love, knowing that Lee is still alive. Lee returns to Korea as a millionaire gambler also gambling for Song's love. The fierce competition in the casino world is thoroughly seen through this drama, as the ambitions of two men clash with eachother: for money, success, and even women (Song).
