Synopsis

This story takes place during the 1993 economic downturn. Aki acts as the first female in a career-track job position in a large companies. She is impatient with the male/female status quo of females being powerless.

Meanwhile she is engaged to Sato Yasushi, the ex-boyfriend of a oolleague. Sachiko had been a mother-figure to Aki, but Aki said goodbye to her 2 years prior. On the day of the wedding Aki receives a letter from Sachiko.
