In the heat of the moment, Wand De Fu and Tu Shu Li got a divorce after their 32 years of marriage. Both immediately regretted the decision but neither was willing to bow down to the other. Reluctantly, they began to divide up their assets, of which included a detective agency neither wished to part with. So for the good of their agency, they reached a tentative agreement to continue living in the same 3-story apartment and operating their business on the first floor as usual. Before they could sort out their messy divorce, their grown daughter moved back with their granddaughter after fighting with their son-in-law, and new tenants, whom Tu rented to before the sudden divorce, moved in as well.

Synopsis
