Mitamura Yukio (Sawamura Ikki) is the founder and president of a rapidly growing apparel company. Mitamura places priority on the company’s profits and overworks his employees. He justifies this with the belief that hard work is necessary to achieve results. He does not think his beloved company exploits its employees. Mitamura enrolls in a university to study company management from the basics. This is where he meets a new lecturer Akiyama Kyoko (Kuroki Meisa). Although he feels attracted to the intellectual Kyoko, the differences in their way of thinking results in frequent clashes. Within the company while Mitamura is in college there is an attempt to oust him from his company. With the knowledge he has gained from attending university classes Mitamura soon realizes that his company does indeed exploit its employees.
